PIPEHENGE
a portable daytime astronomy apparatus available to MHTC members.

Training in the use of Pipehenge is a prerequisite for borrowing it, but the teacher center offers free training sessions.

STARLAB
a portable planetarium, is available to MHTC members.

The center provides a trainer to assist educators in learning how to use the planetarium and integrate its use in a variety of content areas at different grade levels.

EDUCATIONAL ENTERPRISE ZONE [EEZ]
The Educational Enterprise Zone [EEZ] program is available through the teacher center. EEZ is a coalition of historical, scientific, and cultural sites that have developed content packages appropriate for use in classrooms. This content is delivered through videoconferencing and includes accompanying materials for background and instruction. There is a fee for use of some of the instructional equipment to cover the cost of materials.

We have portable Ellison Letter Machines at the MHTC SUNY Site and at MHTC Satellite Sites that may be borrowed by member educators. The ELM comes with a set of alphabet letters and numerals, and a variety of shapes. To borrow the ELM for your school, please call MHTC at 845.257.2885 to see about its availability.
