A portable planetarium available to MHTC members.

The center provides a trainer to assist educators in learning how to use the planetarium and integrate its use in a variety of content areas at different grade levels.

INSTRUCTIONAL EQUIPMENT TO USE and/or BORROW

At the MHTC SUNY Facility, educators may use, and in some cases, borrow:

• Computer Work Station with Color Printer & Scanner, and Internet Access
• Projection System
• Poster Maker
• Ellison Letter Machine
• Cold Laminator
• Button Maker
• Binding Machine
• Camcorder
• Photo CD Player
• VHS Player
• Environmental Probe
• Digital Camera

There is a fee for use of some of the instructional equipment to cover the cost of materials. We have portable Ellison Letter Machines at the MHTC SUNY Site and at MHTC Satellite Sites that may be borrowed by member educators. The ELM comes with a set of alphabet letters and numerals, and a variety of shapes. To borrow the ELM for your school, please call MHTC at 845.257.2885 to see about its availability.
