World History Institute

World History - A 40 Hour Teacher Institute

This teacher institute addresses a conceptual understanding of World History for high school teachers and allows them to work on pedagogical applications of this scholarship in either the N.Y.S. Global History course or the Advanced Placement World History course. The Institute will include presentation of journal articles, sharing of ideas, scholarly presentations, guest speakers, discussions and Q & A. Ample time will be set aside daily for preparation of teaching materials.

July 6 - July 17th          8 am -12 noon        SUNY New Paltz
